What is mitosis?
Mitosis is a type of cell division in which one parent cell divides to form two identical daughter cells. Also, the number of chromosomes in the daughter cell is the same as the parent cell. Each cell contains 23 pairs of chromosomes. It means it has a total of 46 chromosomes that contain our genetic information in the form of DNA.
